A sure sign of Spring is when the Maple Sap starts flowing. Most of the sap is collected via plastic pipes today, and these pictures depict the older method of bucket collection. There is pancakes and sausage served at this site, and it is quit popular. The finished product sells for about $30.00 a liter. It takes about 40 liters of sap to make one liter of syrup.
