An eight food row of radish (Raphanus sativus) was planted. This is the left portion of the 26 foot row. A board was placed over the row, since heavy rain is expected in the next few days. Radish is a cool weather crop and must be planted in early Spring or later in the Fall. The flea beetle is a constant pest and the row must be covered or sprayed with various concoctions to reduce damage.
