Checking seeds for viability. The typical method.I require about sixty Walla Walla onion seedlings. It is most annoying to plants seeds and find that the germination is very low, so I check them using the following method.Place the seeds on a wet Kleenex and place in a closed container and allow to germinate. This usually occurs in 2 to 4 days. After the sprout forms the seed is planted in a container and allowed to grow until time to plant in the outdoor garden. I also do this for some seeds that are direct seeded in the outdoor garden, like corn, peas and beans.
