Six day the peas have started to germinate. The board and cross pieces have been removed and the row slightly watered.

Two types of peas (one edible pod and the other shelled type) were planted today using the board method. The 25 foot row was prepared and marked out.A board was used to mark the width and two rows of peas were planted.A raised board was placed over the row to provide undisturbed conditions until germination. Stakes and supporting string support will be provided after the peas emerge.
