This asparagus bed was made about 2006 planted with eleven Guelph Millennium Asparagus roots. This year over the harvest period of about four weeks a record will be kept to determine the production. There appears to be about 8 plants still alive and thriving in this 4 by 8 foot bed.The first shoots 2013 were picked today (6 Ounces).
