Dracunculus vulgaris (Dragon Lily)

There are four plants this year. Two are not in bloom yet. The plant has a relatively strong odor for about two days to attract flies for pollination. The plant is rather spectacular with the large wine colored flower. Some common names are Voodoo Lily, Snake Lily, Black Arum, Black Dragon, Dragon-wort.
