The current vegetables from the garden were made into 14 litres of vegetable juice.Used were cucumbers, green beans, kale, collards,beets, basil, celery. Water was added to just cover in the pot.The mixture was cooked until soft, blended into a slurry, strained and placed in litre jars. Two batches of seven litres were pressure canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes for long term storage at room temperature.
