Thirty pounds of blueberries were picked from a commercial farm. Kent Kreek Berries is a scenic family blueberry farm close to Simcoe, ON, near the North shore of Lake Erie. The berries were excellent quality and about 20 litres were picked. The berries were processed into 21 litre jars of juice and pressure canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes. Each jar contains 1.4 pounds of berries. Straining is not necessary since blueberries have little gross fibre and blending into a slurry is sufficient for drinking purposes. Pictures depict the process. About ten litres of water was added total or just enough to cover the berries.
