Four liters of previously prepared sugar beet slurry was made into fruit leather. A liter of slurry was poured onto a cookie sheet and placed in the Excalibur dehydrator for 12 hours at 63C. The finished sheet of leather was slightly rubbery, with a sweet flavor, and is most pleasant to eat, almost candy like. There was no crystallization of the slurry.
