Planting Horseradish

Two horseradish plants were placed in the garden. These two plants were placed in the pots when the horseradish was processed on 7 September 2014.The bed was rototilled and some sand was added to insure the soil is light for digging in 2015. Two plants suffice for my needs which makes about a gallon of condiment. Some diatomaceous earth was spread on top of the soil to discourage slugs. Efficacious or not, who knows?
