The last nine tomato plants were put in the garden. Types are Big beef 2,Beef steak 3, Better boy 2, Sicilian Saucer 2. Plants are supported by overhead strings.

Eighteen tomato plants were set outdoors today. They have been in the greenhouse. They type planted were black krim 5,big beef 4, lemon boy 4, grape cluster 3, black cherry 2. There are nine more spaces to fill. Each plant is supported by a string around the main stem and fixed to an overhead structure. The structure is sufficiently spaced to support 21 plants with adequate room. Additional support strings will be added to support lateral branching as the plant grows.
