Corn , Seneca Chief

The first corn was picked today. I only grow Seneca Chief, a hybrid, since I dislike the modern full cob corn now offered. If the moisture content is adequate this corn has a most pleasant taste. The cobs are relatively small in diameter but quite long. They must be cooked as soon as picked to retain flavor. This means almost having the water boiling then go and pick.
