Two cups of roasted peanuts with the skins were purchased from a bulk food store and made into peanut butter. The peanuts were placed in a smooth tall jar and blended to the desired texture with a Bamix hand blender. This process is possible with a table top blender, but some scraping of the container is required to remove the finished product.
Apparently in most peanut butter the skins are removed- a personal choice.
