Eight cucumbers (Cross Country) started from seed were moved to the outdoor garden. They got larger than planned but will recover. They are trained to grow on the trellis, which keeps the fruit all green, and prevents the vines from spreading excessively. The boards are for feet when picking the fruit. These eight plants produce from 50 to 100 pounds of cucumbers during the season.
