About 8 pounds of black currants were made into 10 liters of juice. Black currants make quality juice. Picking is a bit tedious. I picked in clusters and floated the debris off in a tub of water and hand picked parts that didn’t float. The juice was pressure canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes for off season storage at room temperature.The process is depicted in pictures.
