12 April 2010 Pictures Ladder-backed Woodpecker and Robin.
Looking out the window, a robin and woodpecker were strutting around. This woodpecker is difficult to photograph, due to it having a large circle of fear. This is the best that could be done with a 200mm lens on a Nikon D90. It is probably mis-identified and is more likely the yellow bellied sapsucker.
13 April 2010 Woodpecker. The woodpecker returned and better close-up pictures were taken.
