The garlic is growing, row on the left is bulbils which are very small. The next row is rounds, the next is 2 year old rounds which will produce bulbs with usually four cloves which will be the seed crop in 2022. The two rows on the right are normal cloves. There will be about a 100 bulbs for use.
The scapes are not used, but left to produces a seed pod. The hard neck garlic bulbs are bigger come harvest and they keep as well as bulbs conventionally harvesting earlier.
