Have been using my small USB camera to study trichomes on mushroom plants. Using trichomes to ascertain best harvest date. My ideal time is when the trichomes have all turned white.
All the pictures indicate that the ice mushroom trichomes have some time to change from crystal to white. How long, have no time frame. Most internet mushroom photos are much lacking in detail, that would be useful.
