A method of preparing raw garlic in a desirable form by mixing with rice.

Garlic must be prepared properly to obtain maximum benefits. The method is to crush the garlic and let it sit for a minimum of 15 minutes so the enzymes do their magic before utilizing. I do a bulb at a time. Method is to crush the cloves in a tortilla press to remove the skin, then place the crushed bulbs in an OXO Chopper and reduce the garlic to small pieces. Let it sit for 15 minutes or longer for the enzyme treatment, then utilize. Photos indicate the method.

A cup of rice is washed, cooked for 15 minutes allowed to cool for 15 minutes or less,then the rice and garlic is mixed. Pictures depict the method. The heat of the rice is sufficient to reduce the stinging effect of the garlic and not hot enough to destroy the healthy benefits. Garlic browned is garlic destroyed-meaning it has been raised to too high a temperature.

A bowl as a supplement to a meal is probably sufficient. I find the mixture to be most palatable. The remaining may be kept in the refrigerator for a few days.
