Finding cranberry juice alone to be quite tart in it natural state,it was decided to mix with pomegranate juice. Both are marketed together in my area around Christmas.The quantity selected was 12 pomegranates and 3600 grams of cranberries. Two identical batches were made of 6 pomegranates and 1800 grams of cranberries.
Method: Wash, cover with water, boil until soft, beat into a mash, strain. The two juices were mixed together and placed in liter jars and pressured canned at 15 PSI for 15 minutes. Nothing except water was added to the juice. The juice is more than palatable.
