Garden to date. Growth is substantial even though Spring has been cool. The only insect that has surfaced is the flea beetle which attacks the leaves of the Pak Choy. I am attempting controlling with soap and neem oil sprayed twice a day with limited success. With access to wood chips from a local convenient garden supply at $10.00 per yard, I am in the process of covering the garden with this mulch to retain moisture. All the vegetables and fruit grown is processed into pressure canned juice or slurry and utilized off season. Last year over 400 liters were produced and the same is expected this year. What is not grown in sufficient quantities is purchased from local producers.
