Making Tortillas 14 June 2014 Making Tortillas
Twelve tortillas were made using half masa flour and half whole wheat flour.Both flours were made from whole grains with no additives. The procedure from mixing the flour with water to placing in storage container was about 15 minutes. The flour is stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. To utilize tortillas they are placed in the microwave for about 20 seconds prior to serving. The method is quick and simple. Annotated pictures depict the procedure.
