Eight Red Kale plants were placed in the outdoor garden. These were purchased in flats and transferred to individual pots to allow for the establishment of strong roots. The plants supply greens all Summer and are prolific producers. The bottom leaves are picked and the top keep producing. A plastic fence was placed around the small seedlings to protect from the visitation of a periodic rabbit.
